Reviewed: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

If there's one category of video games that have a worse reputation than games based on movies, it would have to be games based on television series. Especially childrens' television series. Gamers (or sometimes their younger siblings) have been subjected to some of the worst of the worst, from cheesy "educational" titles based on Sesame Street, through My Little Pony and Barbie titles, and even through X-men games back on the NES that count as "A game based on a cartoon based on a comic book." And that's not even taking into consideration so many bad games made off of quiz shows and game shows.

Midway, however, thinks that The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is a winner. And maybe they're right. Not only does the game not suck, it actually does a pretty good job channeling the show's manic energy into a format that is enjoyable, fun, and has some decent replay value.
